Welcome to The Ostrich™ based in Toronto, Canada.
We are a family owned and operated business. Our journey into the pet industry started 7 years ago as dog trainers. We proudly operate a well-established animal care facility in the GTA. This hands-on experience has given us insight into what pet owners want and what our pets need.
We have been using BioThane® professionally for almost 10 years but even after many years we noticed that all of the BioThane® products on the market looked the same. In the Summer of 2022, we started focusing all our spare time on finding a new way to make BioThane® more unique. We are proud to be the first company in Canada dedicated to designing Printed BioThane® gear. We created The Ostrich™ brand to introduce a distinct range of versatile, practical and stylish gear for pet owners and pet professionals.
All of our products are handmade from setting the rivets to designing the patterns for our gear - we do it all! So, when you shop with us, you’re not just buying another pet accessory; you’re investing in the knowledge, passion, and dedication that comes from years of experience in the dog world.
